Just moved into a house with a Kinetico 2100s water softener...and it has been a nightmare. Don't know how the thing works...so bare with me. It was on by-pass, we switched it to "service" and the salt tank filled with water and overflowed onto the floor causing a small flood. There are two tubes leading from the tall tank into the salt tank, a small skinny black one and a large orange tube from where water is filling up the salt tank. I am thinking the large orange tube should not be in the salt tank but is a drain tube?
