Hello krnva,

Do You have a Ground connected to the Generator Ground connection ? The system that you have is a good unit, but it does not have the neutral connected to ground and it is floating. Unless you connect the Ground terminal, to a good ground, It could do exactly as what you are seeing.

Just a thought, You might want to check it. The ground terminal is by the outlets and should be a minimum 10 AWG.
