STRANGE ODOR FROM DRAINS - NEED HELP!!

Hi - I need some help figuring out a strange odor from all of our drains in our house. We moved into the house 2 months ago and have noticed the smell ever since moving in. The smell is like a rubber/onion/body odor smell....... All 4 toilets have this smell and when I turn on any sink, shower or bathtub, the drains smell. It's not the water, but each drain - I think and each toilet...... It doesn't matter if it's hot or cold water. The washing machine has the same smell.

We did some remodeling and had all 4 toilets changed.

I have been reading quite a bit on this topic. I found a similar problem with someone else on your blog - "heidi" but her problem was a sewer smell - mine is not that, but a onion, rubbery, plastic smell. Do you think the plumbers could have done something incorrectly when installing the toilets, and thus the smell is going to each drain? I have no idea what to do....... thanks so much!
