How do?
Been a while since I have posted to these forums. I hope I am posting this topic correctly.
While adding an additional length of PVC pipe to an existing shallow well pipe I apparently applied too much cement to a pvc sleeve and the end of the pipe. And when I attempted to reinsert the pipe into the well the sleeve fitting slipped completely off the pipe. Luckily it slipped off before it was actually inserted into the well. Since the two came completely apart can I clean or sand the two serfaces and re-cement them, or must I start over with a new sleeve and cut off the end of the pipe so I have new serfaces? I do not have a new sleeve and it is a very long distance to town just to buy one sleeve.
Thank you.
Charlie
