I am looking for a new water softener for my home, 4 bath with 4 people in the house.

The hardness seems to be approx. 10GGm , I am on city water so the iron might not be issue.

As I am new to water softener, is their any other factor i need to consider?

Experts, could you please advice on the best water softener that will provide value for my money.

Also any advice to plumber in Plano/Frisco, TX area that can install it ? If not what should be the best place to look for the plumber with expertise to install softener.

Clack or Fleck is the type of system you should be considering. Call some water treatment companies and ask if they will install customer units. Some will some will not.
