I have looked at 3 conventional toilets of 2 different brands. All have 4 "feet" on the bottom. 2 feet are near the back and 2 are just in front of the wax ring. The 2 front feet are about 1/8 inch higher than the bottom rim, meaning the toilet will always rock on those feet when setting on a flat floor. Why do these feet even exist? How should this be installed? Yes, I could shim all around the front but that would result in a quarter inch caulking joint in front that tapers to the rear. That sounds inappropriate and unattractive.
