Hi Guys:

I am going to re-do the downstairs bath tub, shower valve, etc. I have a U-Tile (Maax) that I got for a great price, so I am going to go with a compatible Maax tub.

Upstairs, I used this one (Maax Bosca) upstairs and was pleased with it:

However, the price has increased to $800 (I may be able to get it down with a price match).

I was also looking at the Nomad (https://www.homedepot.ca/product/maax-n ... 1001631602), which currently retails for $500.

Funny thing is that, on Maax website, the MSRP is higher for the Nomad ($1,314) than the Bosca ($1,283).

The only differences I see are:
- Nomad uses Maxx's proprietary AcrlX coating ... supposed to be more resistant to discoloration.
- Nomad has a slightly textured floor to make it a little less slippery
- The Nomad does not come in plastic wrap, so I would need to be a more careful during the install.

So my questions are:
- Has anyone used the Nomad?
- What are your impressions?
- Do you think there will be any appreciable quality difference between the two tubs?
