Tankless heater house...Kitchen has no hot water, bathroom has plenty

We have a tankless water heater and we are getting only cold water in kitchen but bathroom has hot?? I think it screwed up my dishwasher, cause it quit mid cycle yesterday and didn't drain. I checked the areator already and it is clear. We do have a whole house softening system that is working fine. I am totally baffled by this.

Take the flow limiting oring out of the strainer and try the faucet. you may not be flowing enough to start the heater.

Did it used to work in the kitchen then stop, or has it never worked?

Not all tankless water heaters are the same. A model number would be useful information.
