Has anyone seen this valve before?

I presume circa late 1930's. Cannot find any information on it and would like to find parts before disassembling.

Has a push-button to actuate shower diversion.

Your valve was made by Symmons Industries. Identification is made by selecting the matching dial plate. Although Symmons no longer make these cartridges most are still made by aftermarket manufacturers. Try to match from the attachments. Your photo is hiding the model.
