Trying to find a replacement for a ceramic disc stem cartridge for our shower, but have no clue who manufactured it. Was hoping someone could help identify it. BTW...I have no knowledge of plumbing. I'm trying to do the legwork for my husband who works a lot and hasn't had any luck from local hardware and plumbing outlets. I've attached a photo of it. Here are the specs as I understand them: ceramic discs, 16pt broach, approximately 5 1/2" long, 1" base width, 1/2" threaded neck. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your insights!

Looks like a volume control . Can you show a picture of the fixture where this part goes to ?

Thank you for helping. These 3 knobs (see pic) all use this part. Right knob turns on all water to two shower heads and jets. Middle knob controls whether 2nd shower head stays on or off. Left knob controls whether jets stay on or off.

From what I can tell, based on the link Breplum was kind enough to provide (thank you), I think it was made by Ondine. In the Ceramic Cartridge guide there, I found OEM part 26066 and 26067 (attached pic from guide). I think we would need 26066-1 (which is discontinued). Was hoping someone might be able to confirm that as I'm just "best guessing" my way through this.

Called some plumbers but I'm rural and will have to wait for it to even be looked at. If that is in fact it, I think I could order it here (one of very few places): https://realdealsupply.com/Ondine-260661-260662-Ceramic-Disc-Stem-419461-Choices-p113888.html

No worries.

I checked there catalog as well .

There is one you can cut down to size to match the original size of the cartridge in which you have .

Hope that helps you .

Thanks again for the help Neil Binda. Unfortunately, the cartridges listed on your attachment are all less than the 5 1/2" length we need. I'm also unclear about which ones can be cut down to size...I assume the ones that have splines running all the way down the stems?

Yes those ones can be cut down to size. You just have to find one with the same spline and longer that can be cut down to size.

This is the better option as the one you might need is hard to find .
