I have some PEX pipping coming from the attic, through the cinder block, and out into the bathroom sink. I also have some areas where the PEX is touching the outer surface of the cinder block and dry wall (I have ~ 3/4 maybe 1" of clearance due to thin furried drywall).

Do I need to cover the PEX pipe with any protective sleeve? I'm concerned with rubbing.

Thanks in advance for any recommendation and advice.
