I need help with removing old tub faucet handle! Puller doesn't work!

Hi everyone,

I have this old 3 handle tube faucet and want to change the handles...
However, I just cannot get the handles out. I have used handle puller, and now the puller pin is stuck... And the puller doesn't seem like pulling anything...
I am not sure if this handle is completely stuck and needs to be cut... The plastic cover came off very easily...
Can anyone help me with this problem...?

Did you find a way to resolve this? I also got my puller pin stuck in the handle and I can't get it out! Any help is appreciated.
