1927 American Standard Toilet seat hinge problem

Hello Everyone, Heres my situation, I have a home built in 1927 and all the plumbing fixtures are American Standard. I have a split seat toilet seat and the hinge broke so only one side of the seat lifts at a time. I'd like to find a replacement hinge or toilet seat but the bolt spacing of that vintage (8-3/4") no longer is available (anywhere). Anybody have any ideas where I might find a replacement seat and or hinge?
