    Pond ---> Cabin Water System?

    Hello! I am purchasing a property that currently has no running water, but is only about 25' from a large pond so I wanted to design a system to use the pond water for household needs (on a very tight budget). See above for what I have come up with so far (hopefully small type is legible!)...

    Well Water

    my well water appears cloudy and leaves rust stains in my commodes. We have a deep well and filter system as well as salt system. It appears it is not pulling the salt into the system . What does manual regen do? It is on the filter system. thanks Joan
