    So totally new to basement, sump pits and wells! Just bought 50 year old home that supposedly never had any water issues. The sump pit is undersized and is on 14 inches wide by 18 inches deep. previous owner use a 1/3 ho pedestal pump only hooked up to a battery backup but with no secondary...
