I never even knew they had such a size in pipe..not tubing. all the copper was brush painted to years ago?

    flooded basement/cleanup opinion

In a week we had 15" or more of snow, then a quick thaw to continuous rain, then an ice storm WTF! My Liberty 1/2hp sub was overwhelmed and when I got up at 7:30 it was 3" deep and at 10:30 the pump finally caught up and cycled...So anyways, it sat for 6 days then a rapid cleanout. We then...

what do they call this fitting?

I have a 1"check valve on my tank tee, the Plastic Elbow thet screws into it and then slides into the 1-1/4" plastic tubing/pipe from my well. It appears this elbow has a very slight leak so I was thinking when I reseal the threads, maybe I should put a brass one in-I also could use an extra...

Preference on sealing tank tee to tank elbow?

I'll be replacing my Tee this week. I had used pipe joint compound(Ace hardware brand in tube) which is leaking? I've since picked up a can of Rector-seal 5 (slow-dry/soft set) and a roll of "blue monster" teflon tape for final repair. tank and elbow are new as well. Other than the tube compound...

Does a new setup need a relief valve?

Got a new Goulds HPro v100s (32g) to replace a Goulds v60 (20g). I ended up getting all the little goodies as well except relief valve, my old setup didn't have one either. Also, do you all use pipe dope and teflon tape on all threads? Thanks...:)

why 3 different size psi switches?

20/40,30/50 & 40/60? Gould precharge on all its tanks are 38psi meaning a 40/60 switch and I suppose if using a 30/50 you would have to drain precharge down to 28psi correct?
