Laundry stack - can pipe size be reduced?

Just realized I never reported back on this. In Missouri, the 3" trap under concrete is allowed, and the 3" stand pipe can be reduced to a 2" for the laundry mash box. No trap above floor.

What is this nipple sticking into a floor drain?

Hmmm - if a trap primer, any idea where the source of the water would come from? I've traced all the supply lines, but was guessing if it was from one of those it would need an air gap or backflow prevention of some kind. The direction the nipple comes from seems to point in the direction the...

What is this nipple sticking into a floor drain?

I thought a drain at first, but it's only 1/2" pipe, and all of those that could/maybe have used it as a drain are above grade.

What is this nipple sticking into a floor drain?

Residential home in the midwest, built in the early 60's There is what appears to be a pipe nipple sticking into the 4" floor drain pipe about 6" above the water level for the P trap, angled down at 35 degrees and only protruding maybe 5/8", but still beneath the concrete floor. Still trying...

Laundry stack - can pipe size be reduced?

I do know the 3" stand pipe is permitted, with a trap beneath the floor, as it was inspected and passed justa few months ago. The problem I am having is that I now need to find a way to connect this stand pipe to a 2" washing machine outlet box. I'll talk with the inspector this afternoon...

Laundry stack - can pipe size be reduced?

I am finishing off our basement laundry, and currently there is a 3" stack coming up out of the floor. The trap is under the concrete. Is it acceptable to reduce the pipe size to 2" in order to hook up to a washing machine outlet box, or is there a outlet box with a 3" spigot or hub...

    Basement bathroom - venting question

So, as shown, the 2" wet vent for the lav vents to a 1.5" through the wall, which ties into the existing 2" along the foundation wall.

    Basement bathroom - venting question

So, the 2" coming out from the floor serves as a wet vent for the shower. dropping from that 2" to 1 1/2" through the 2x4 wall, then bumping back to 2" where it ties into the existing vent wouldn't be a problem?

    Basement bathroom - venting question

Thanks for the input. I'll have the carpenter increase the wall to a 2x6 instead of 2x4 and then run a 2" vent through it.

    Basement bathroom - venting question

hard to describe, so I scetched it up. Basically, I want to know if this vent routing highlighted in red is okay. I am tying into an existing 2" horizontal vent, which currently vents a laundry sink. This vent currently comes out of the slab, ties into a 1.5" line for the laundry, then...
