top of the tub. 3 different spots.

Just installed the new tub. The tub is level and im have problems in the center of the tub.Is it normal for spots to puddle in the center of the tub. I also get a puddle at the drain. Is this normal did i get a bad tub? The inside of the tub is offset heading toward the drain.

I plan on using laticrete hydro-barrier, instead of the redgard. From what I have read Laticrete is thicker. Should I apply it to all the cement board, like you would redgard? Its is for a shower/tub. I plan on using the laticrete mesh for all the corners.

Remodeling my bathroom. Mine originally had drywall in place and they covered the lip of the tub. I plan on using Durock/cement board. Do i cover the lip of the tub or do I stop right above the lip? Also Mine had a brass Waste and Overflow drain, is it OK to use a PVC trap or should I do a...

Im trying to find gravel, I received my softener. I looked to find gravel and can not find it except online. Is there anything I can buy at home depot or any other place like lowes? Would Rock City 0.5-cu ft Pea Gravel or QUIKRETE 50-lb Drainage Rock be ok to use?

thanks for the reply the only reason I asked. I talked to 2 installer and they are mixing resin here in brevard county. They call it whit resin to remove the tannin. I figured the fine resin would take care of a lot of the iron.

So i went ahead and used the r max. Here is is half finished i am using the tape to cover the cuts and wood. Would that stop me from have to put up another vapor? Here are my pics and tell me what you think. Or should i go with the pink unfaced insulation with a poly barrier?

its not regular drywall its the purple board. so i just mesh tape it and put 1 coat of compund on there thanks!

so should i just say screw it and get the fiberglass insulation (unfaced) and then put up my 6mil poly? The sheathing was only 10.xx

i am replacing 4x6 section of my wall, is it nessary to tape it and add joint compound even though i am going to tile right over it? if so would i need to add all those coats. i suck at joints.

ok i understand that, i am going to just put the poly up it can only help me. i will take a pick sunday of it so i can verify it is right.
