    Hose Bib Brand Recommendations?

Getting ready to install the exterior siding on my house and will be installing the hose bibs (spigots, faucets, any other name here. LOL!) I would like to have some recommendations of a good quality brand that will last as long as the house. I would prefer something made here on U.S. soil...

    kitchen peninsula outlet

Just run the Romex out of the top of the box and secure it as high up in the cabinet as possible. (Way toward the rear so it will clear any drawers, etc..) Should not be an issue then. If it will make you sleep better at night, you can run it in metal flex, but it will be fine without it as...

    Odd pressure problem

Hi All, My sister has a rental house that is suffering some pressure issues. She told me that a former tenant was complaining about the pressure, but never did anything about it. I do not know the age of the house, but I am sure I can find out. I also do not know what the supply lines are...

Proper way to test rough in with Tubs?

Sorry, I should have clarified what I meant. (I knew in my head what I was thinking. LOL!) I just meant as far as asking the county IF the tub had to be hooked up during the 2nd rough in. I can not/did not find anything to plug it from the manufacturer. They do make a plug, but it is for a...

Proper way to test rough in with Tubs?

Gotcha on that part. The problem I am having is that I need to pressure test the entire DWV pipe system. If I actually hook up the tub, I do not know how to go about plugging the piping in the tub drain (mainly the overflow.) Does this make sense?

Proper way to test rough in with Tubs?

OK, I have searched and read and searched and read... I am getting ready for the second rough-in inspection. I have all the DWV pipe installed in the house (minus the trap for the main bath tub which will be in tomorrow.) At this time, I have not connected the master tub to the trap (and...

Shower Valve on a Different wall than head?

I searched, and read, but did not find the answer. I am roughing in my master shower in new construction. The shower has 2 walls and 2 full glass sides. I would like to put the valve on the wall as you step into the shower, and the head on the back wall. Run length will be approx 8 feet from...

    Air Compressor Quick Connector

You can actually buy the adapter you need from a RV store. It is called a blow out plug. Here is a link to Camping World. (I am an RVer and we have to winterize the RV.) http://www.campingworld.com/browse/skus/index.cfm?skunum=4410&src=SRQB Hope this helps.

2 Pex lines to a Urinal out of the question?

Is my idea that out of control that no one has any input? Or is it just that no one is using pex from a manifold? BTW: I got all the tubing installed except the urinal. This PEX stuff is pretty sweet. :)

2 Pex lines to a Urinal out of the question?

I like overkill. :) But I also like to be sure I am doing something "enough" for what I need. So here is the situation. I am plumbing in my garage bathroom and I went with the Manabloc and Pex tubing. The manifold is all 1/2" feeds. (I have the adapters to knock it down to 3/8" for the...

Not sure if it was the right thing to do or not, but I used Joy dish soap. Slid in there nice and tight.
