Hello - I read a recent exchange you had with a different blogger. Specifically, a discussion about a water softener stuck in regeneration. You stated the probable culprit was a stuck main or brine piston. Do you have any additional details or instructions you could provide to troubleshoot this further. I, too have the same problem. Culligan gets $175.00 just to come out and troubleshoot. I cannot afford that kind of charge right now, so, looking to repair myself. I'm fairly good at mechanical things, so am thinking I could save some money. Any further instructions or advice you can provide regarding the piston repair is truly appreciated. Thank you! Larry
