Are GFCI receptacles required on a remodel? I inspect a bunch of older apartments buildings that have been rehabed in the last 10-15 years. Should the receptacles by the bathroom and kitchen sinks be retrofitted with a GFCI receptacle to be in compliance? Most of these properties are in California.
