    I need to find a basket assembly to fit a 1932 era cast iron kitchen sink. The hole is 2.75 inches rather than the standard 3.5 inch of today.

  2. Weil-McLain GV5 Boiler - Series 1, Pressure Switch

    Gas Fired - Gold design, hot water boiler stopped working as a result of Pressure Switch not actuating to enable current flow for flame ignition.
    This unit is an older version - lacking the Condensate Tank!
    Checked the two tubes to Gas/Air Manifold for leaks. (Able to actuate the Pressure Switch by blowing in the tubes.
    Replaced the Pressure Switch with no success.
    Checked for clear air intake and exhaust, and ensured clear holes in the blower assembly. ...

  4. Looking for a surround

    New to forum...here is my problem...takingY out a bathtub and replacing with a surround. 60 x 34 or so..thought we had it figured out with the sterling accord unit..seemed like a nice midrange unit and very safe for my 83 year old mother...( whole reason for project) first one arrived with 2 major cracks at the corners...ok. The supplier got a replacement in 2 weeks....inspected by store and myself upon pickup...looked fine...unpacked to install Yup cracked UNDERNEATH the styrofoam softener!!! ...

  5. How to locate a shower leak - Best plan of attack outlined.

    My buddy Tom called me today to wish me a happy Father's Day and ask for some advice. I was heading to work for a short spell and after hearing about his shower leak I told him I would be by in an hour. I helped Tom build his shower and wanted to see first hand the problem.
