does MOEN lower their quality for.....

I was recently told by a home building contractor that MOEN supplies a lower quality MOEN product for large chain stores such as Wallmart or Canadian Tire here in Canada. If I want a better Q. product I should shop at a hardware or plumbing store. Is this true?????

Not true. As far as I can tell, after dealing with lots of Moen products here. the parts are all the same.
