Hello All,

I moved a vanity a few feet away from it's original location. So I need to extend some plumbing. I have a few questions.

Questions:
1. Can I leave the trap where it is and plumb over to it?
2. What kind of drain line should I use to plumb over to it? (my local hardware has drain material that is the same diameter and material as the trap, they sell extension pieces, corrugated flexible pieces, and other accesories out of this material) also they sell a black semi flexible drain material that you slide over a barbed fitting and secure with a hose clamp) What kind of drain-line material should I go with?
3. Does the trap have to be directly under the sink or can it be a 2 feet away?
4. If I move the trap to directly under the sink, I will have to run some horizontal pipe about 3 feet over to the vertical drain that goes down the wall, what slope is required for this?
5. Are 90 degree turns ok with drains?

Several questions I know and I thank anyone for any help,
Molo

1) this would usually create a running trap. which is not allowed because it would perform poorly
2) ABS (black) or PVC (white) pipe. Do not use any flex connectors. or barbed type fittings.
3) yes the trap should be directly under the sink
4) 1/4" per foot
5) 90º are ok, but should be the long-sweep type
