The better 1.6 gallon toilets will outperform the old 3.5's.

I haul away and dump 3.5's and 5.0's every day.
There may be a market for them, sounds like a lot of work though.

Thanks, Terry. Off to the dump they go. The new Kohler Santa Rosa (http://www.terrylove.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28056)flushes so much better. I can't wait to see how the Toto Ultramax flushes.

I can't say enough about how happy I am that I found this Web site. I was going to purchase that golf-ball flushing disaster before I found this site.

you can always sent one of the american standard bowls my way. I am not liking my options for a 14" rough in. Please let me know what you have...thanks..Jim

1963-vintage (I'm assuming, cuz that's when the house was built) 12" rough in.

Are they white? Also, inside the tank, the manufacture date should be stamped. I would be interested in one if it's white.
