Wow ...! I can't believe there's a forum regarding TOILETS! But, I do have a problem with this product. So, thanx in advance.
A year ago, we had our master bath redone. Pretty pricey. After some research, I chose a Toto Caroline toilet for around $1200 installed.
Looks great. Works like crap (so to speak). The back of the bowl does not rinse. I checked the black fill tube to make sure it is over the white refill tube. It is. I took an allen wrench and cleared out all the holes around the rim.
Nothing seems to work. Yes, I have held down the handle to drain the entire bowl. Still .... I have to clean the back of the bowl with paper, brush (I hate that filthy deal) and flush ... and flush ... and flush.
What's good about a 1.6 gpf toilet if you use 5 gallons of water to clean it out, plus a couple wads of paper.
I contacted Toto. They were sympathetic, but really did not offer any solutions. What can I do?
I'll get the Clorox Teflon stuff, but I'm going to redo the office bathrooms. I am considering a commercial toilet with some 'forced flush' system to replace the Carolina Toto. But, I'd like some guidance from others.
TIA
