Borg-Warner toilet questions

We have a Borg-Warner toilet that is leaking - water is slowing going from the flush tank into the bowl (and then down the drain.) The toilet is a "low boy", a one piece with the tank only a couple of inches above the bowl. It was probably installed in the early to mid 60's.

We have replaced the flap and cleaned the pipe :confused: where it sits but the toilet still is leaking water - I can hear it when I go to the basement and listen.

What should we do? And we cannot seem to locate Borg-Warner parts in our area - Bethalto, Illinois which is near Alton.

If you used a universal flapper, sometimes they will not always work. I would try to find a correct flapper and go from there. Here is a link that might help as well.
