do they perform equally: Toto Drake ADA vs regular height?

Hi,

I need a new toilet and I'm leaning towards the option of buying a Toto Drake. I checked the prices between the (elongated) regular height (370 mm) and ADA (420 mm) and there is a price difference of $80, what I found a little excessive just for 5 cm (that is less than 2 inches).

I wonder if there's any difference in performance between the two heights. Does anybody know?

Thanks in advance.

Don't know about performance difference (if any) but if you ever get old and creaky, you'll say it was the best $80 you ever spent. Seems to be more common in new construction to install the ADA toilets as well, but that may be a local trend.

Before You spend the money look at the Kohler Cimmaron, I'm 6'4" and I love it.
Home Depot $200.00 can bit the price:)

The ADA version of the Drake will flush better.
The Map testing was on the standard height elongated version.

Either of these will work much better than the Kohler product.
The Cimarron lacks bowl wash at the back of the bowl, and the trapway lays flat at the back, allowing more plugging.

If quality is important, then either of the Toto will work well.
They also sell the Dalton elongated model, comfort height in the $200 price range. These also work better than the Cimarron.
