A plumber quoted my bathroom remodel to include a Toto 703. I have seen the Toto Drake on Terry's website and was wondering how the 703 compared to the Drake. Should I demand a Drake or is the 703 sufficient? It seems that when I receive bids from remodelers, they always include the budget grade toilets. I guess this just fattens their profit, but I don't want to be stuck with a poor toilet.

Be be competitive, they have to quote on the low end.
Consider the Drake as a welcome upgrade that should be added to the contract price.
Don't take it out of their profit on the job.
At least you have a spec sheet that you can work with and modify.
If it were my house, I would pay more for the upgrade.
