Hot water in attic Question

I am going to do a bathroom conversion in one of the exsisting bedrooms. I am going to be able to get to the cold water from the outside fauset but the hot needs to come from across the hall which would be about 4 ft in the attic. Does anyone know if they allow it here in Dallas Texas area, if so what is best way to insulate it

Running pipes in attics, I keep the pipes low, and then put blanket insulation over them. I don't put wrap on the lines, but want to trap interior warmth to keep the pipes from freezing in Winter.
