Or is junk being sold everywhere these days ? I called 10 of the bigger supply houses in my area - NYC (bklyn and nyc shop) and not one carries 17 AWG dishwasher tailpiece.
Hell, I mail-ordered a bunch of Dahl ball stops awhile back from out of state because the local Dahl rep was clueless and tried to pass off some junky valvesat the counter...
When it comes to material, I don't skimp because I prefer getting it done once and never revisiting it......
Do you *pros* just order the good stuff and stock up on them or are such things even available piecemail over the counter easily.
