Hello, I am new to this forum.
I have been remodelling my home for the past few months, and I have finally gotten to the vanity in my bathroom. I am a newbie with this stuff, but am doing well, so far. I cut out the holes in the back of my vanity, pushed it in, and not until then did I think about the p-trap! The vanity has a bottom drawer. The pipe coming out of the wall is very close to the bottom of the cabinet compartment, so if I were to install a p-trap now, I would have to cut through this bottom (cutting into the drawer compartment, making it unusable). Is there a way of re-routing the pipe, so I can install the p-trap higher? (is there a way to do this for an amateur  )
Thanks for any help!
Jane

trap

Only by opening the wall and raising the fitting. Depending on how the pipe is arranged this can range from a fairly simple job for a plumber to something that looks like a major remodel project.

If its still in the way after raising, can you notch the drawer back, that's what I did and I have 3 drawers...
