My problem is , I have an air condition , in the wall unit , installed. It is installed in a opening above a window. The brick wall of the building is thick, I think about 12" (if that makes sense). I have water coming in onto my wall under the sheetrock below the air condition, and it must be from the air condition, I assume. I only see the wet area beneath the window on the left side . What can I do to remedy this situation ?

The air conditioner should be in a frame that is sloped down a little to the outside so that the water will drain and drip out.

Water will not flow up hill. The installation must be corrected.

As the A/C cools the air, it also dehumidifies it, and the water condenses out, drips into a pan, and exits out a drain. I don't know much about in-wall units, but window units have an integral pan, with drain(s) at the outer edge. In-wall units may require an external pan or frame assembly to catch and drain the water. Possibly your pan (if any) has corroded/rusted and water is leaking out into your wall. How old is the unit?
