Kitchen Faucet Whistles/Whines

I installed a new kitchen sink and faucet over a year ago. About 3 months ago, the faucet started whistling and whining when I turn it full open. It happens with both hot and cold water. If I only turn it half-open, the sound is either not present or very faint. Is there anything I can do to fix this? It is most annoying! Thank you immensely for your help!
