What would be the best method of converting 3/4 copper tubing to 3/4 cpvc?
Should I use a male copper adapter into a female cpvc fitting,or a female copper fitting with a male cpvc fitting screwed into it.
I read a post somewhere that said one or the other is more prone to leaks, but I can't remember which one.
Also,I have read that you should not use teflon tape when joining fittings.
Is this true?
Thanks for any help.

And be sure to use a male CPVC adapter with brass threads, not plastic ones.

This is what I've used many times without problems. Brass on both sides. See the transition fittings at the bottom of the page.
