It could take any of several sized, or it could be a washerless one. Have you already replaced a washer but it did not cure the problem? If so then you probably have a damaged seat and have to replace that also.

I just got a reply from Frank Borso, who answered the original post.
He gave me the information on the size I need.
The faucet has a slow leak,about 1 drip every 1.5 seconds, so I think it's just the wrong size washer in there.
