Only have one personal experience with ordering something from Kohler...lousy service. Not on this product, but a simple tub shower door. Took probably 10 phone calls, one wrong item shipped and a lot of aggravation getting the thing after numerous promises of broken delivery dates. Once it was finally delivered, the quality was not up to their hype. If you can see, feel, and closely examine one before purchase, and you can pick it up rather than being promised it will be there by the factory and not showing up on the dock, then go for it if you like it. From what I hear, they like to change designs on a whim, and getting replacement parts is problematic, since nobody wants to carry them since it would require a huge inventory. You'd just have to wait for them to ship you one, maybe after promising it would be out in tomorrow, and taking a month. Hopefully, my experience is not the norm...I do like to buy American, but it is getting harder and harder with many products, even with American companies.
