I just purchased a Toto faucet. The cap on the handle must be removed for installation. It is a very smooth/tight design and difficult to get anything under the cap edge to pry it off. I do not want to damage it. Any suggestions?

Not pry off - Screwed on

Well, the grand TOTO service representative was wrong. The cap does not pry off it is a screw type. Of course I chipped it trying to pry it but that loosened it. Recommendations... get Moen, American Standard, Grohe... not TOTO. Poor support.
