Running 100 foot of new sewer pipe from where it exits my house to the city sewer line in the middle of the street.
I have heard two different versions of what the correct pitch was for proper drainage.
1 was the pitch should be no more than 1/4" per 10 foot of pipe...concept was the water should carry away the sewage, not out-run it from too much pitch.
2 was stated here on this forum in another thread stating that the pitch (for 45 foot in that post) should be NO LESS than 1/4" PER FOOT of pipe.
What is correct, and in particular, for the distance I need to travel.
THANKS A BUNCH in Advance.
