Trying to install a fiberglass tub in a new basement bathroom .Contractor had roughed in drain lines for tub . Drain line lines up directy over tub drain , too easy I thought . I didnt realize that the tub overflow is where the drain should be, roughly 8" away . Plumber left a 6"x6"hole in the concrete .Drainline comes into hole at right angle to tub . Just make hole longer in concrete , add an elbow & P trap ( Its about 8" exactly).
Of course Murphy`s Law states that there shall be a concrete footing placed right where I have to be ..

My question is there a different drain & overflow kit or fitting that would allow me to go straight down from tub with a different style tub flange & T combo then pick up the overflow with an elbow .?????
A simpler explanation of what I am trying to do is pipe to tub?overflow opposite of the standard practice ...
It would save me from Jackhammering ... :D
Thanks The Dogger
