L adapters for washer?

I could gain a couple of inches of space in my new laundry room if the washer water connections (and the fancy in-the-wall shutoff valve connections) were pointed down instead of horizontal. Does anyone know of an adapter that would redirect the hose connections in that manner? Kind of a street ell with M-F hose threads, I guess.

Got to a good hardware store. They should have hoses that have a metal ell for the connections at one end.
