Rusty pipes

We have a jetted garden tub in the master bath. Everytime we turn the jets on rust flakes are jetted into the tub. I have tried several rust removing products over the last 2 years but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

Three Choices

1. Replace the rusty pipes to get rid of the source of rust flakes.
2. Install a large filter to remove the rust flakes. It must be a filter that will survive the hot water.
3. Consider it an added feature, an iron supplement that provides supplemental tanning color.

Are your supply pipes galvanized steel? Time to repipe the house.
