brass to galvanize????

I searched but could not find an answer to where if one can connect a brass fitting to a galvanized pipe. What I have is a zurn pex drop ear fitting that has on one end a pex fitting and on the other a 1/2 threaded female end. What I am trying to do is stub out through the wall with a 1/2 galvanized pipe for the toliet shut off value.

You are on the wrong track using galvanized for a stubout. Use a brass nipple and be done with it.

Galvanized will clog the valve on the end of that stubout along with the fill valve in the toilet.
