I'm currently in the planning stages of building a SIP home. It's a three bedroom two bath one floor design. Total square footage is between 1900-2000. In the basement I'll be adding a guest bed and bath bringing the bathroom total to three. There will be couple of exterior spickets for washing cars and flower watering etc. ect., and a water line running to an out building. Without having my final drawings yet I'm pondering how much should I budget for this, just to be safe. I live in Ohio, if this matters.

Prices are so wide ranging, depending on where your living, it is hard to price.

If you are in the Dayton/Cincy area I can give you one.

bath

Even if I were in that area, I would not hazard a guess until you have the plans. You could have the two baths back to back which would be much cheaper than if you have them at opposite ends of the house. If they are back to back then another factor is which end of the house relative to the sewer connection. And the basement bath may have to have an ejector if the outgoing sewer is not low enough to use gravity.

Your best bet is to call a plumber or 2 and get estimates. Remember an estimate is just that, and may be different from the final cost.
