I'm installing a third bathroom in my basement and have a 3\4 inch supply from my well. My inspector agreed to waive the requirement to go to a one inch supply line from my well. Question: Is there anything I can do to increase the water supply/pressure to the third bath without converting to a one inch supply from the well (which would be a real problem)???

Would separate lines to the third bathroom make a difference (as opposed to simply tapping into the other bathroom lines)?

Would converting to one inch supply from the pressure tank make a difference?

A 3/4 line from the well would be consistent with a small submersible pump or a remote jet pump with limited capacity. If you have a small submersible pump, that has its good and bad sides.

Submersibles usually have excess pressure capacity so you can probably increase the pressure in your tank. If you need more short term flow, you can increase the size of the tank.

But if you are going to use more water for more than 5 minutes, you will probably be limited by the capacity of the well and the pump.

If the new bathroom is going to change the location of water use, it shouldn't have any effect. If the new bathroom is going to change the gallons per minute required from the tank, then you may need to deal with the well and pump.

The biggest demand GPM is usually for hot water. That all has to go through your hot water heater.
