Hi , I am trying to fix a dripping crane bathroom faucet...I had two dial ease (the #4 on the picture) parts on hand so I thought I would replace both...

1. I have proper water connections and pressure.

2. When I replaced the dial ease I could not get any water to go through the spout. I did turn the small dial on top of the dial ease to open and close...
I am wondering what the heck I am doing wrong....I have done several dial ease bathtub connections before without any problem...

I obviously installed the dial ease wrong if that is possible?????

Thank you, any suggestions would help!

yes, I bought two new ones...I am wondering if I installed them too deep....

dial ease

With the stems in an open position or with the stems out try blowing back through the spout and see if you feel a restriction. Put your mouth over the spout and blow.........Take the aerator off first.......
Otherwise I don't see how you can go wrong. It's pretty cut and dried.

You can't install the Dial-eze stem too deep, not can you install it any other way to do it improperly. The only thing you could do wrong would be to install it without the stem being in the closed position while installing it, but even that would not cause your problem.
