Corner Utility Sink?

We are thinking of finishing our basement. We have to 'hide' our sprinkler system pipes within a closet that will be angled. We'd like to put a utility/laundry tub in there and I was wondering if one exists (on legs or wall mounted) that is specifically made for a corner? Or, does anyone have any other suggestions? I like the idea of the utility sink because of the depth but am not 'married' to the idea. Thanks much!

Won't the closet be kind of cramped with a sink in there? If it were me, I'd make the 'closet' as small as possible just to conceal the irrigation pipes. I'd put a standard utility sink in another unobtrusive location with more space. I'd put it in a location where it can be easily vented and connected to the main drain.

The closet is going to be about 5' by 5' by approx 7' on the diagonal (where the door will be. It has to be this big because the plumbing for the sprinkler system is 3' wide and 2' off the wall. I wish it was somewhere else, but it is going to be the first thing seen when you come down the stairs. Ugh.

I had a similar issue. If you have a straight-run staircase, have you considered turning it? You have to have adequate headroom to install a landing, and if there are load-bearing supports on either side, you'll have to deal with this, so I'd get a professional to do this for you. I had to have this done, and it still cost under $1000.

Turning the staircase would allow you to aim the entrance away from the sprinkler pipes. This may open up possibilities of how you can deal with them.

Another recomendation: open as much of the wall as possible to the stairwell. It'll make the decent feel more open and less like you're walking through a tube into a basement.
