View Full Version : Rerouting undersink PVC for new sink
I just had new countertops installed with a built-in sink. The old PVC does not match up with the new drain holes. Are there any tutorials about how to reroute PVC? Any tips? It appears the the old PVC was glued....do I need to cut off sections somewhere and reglue?
It would be almost unheard of for the old drains to fit your new sink. Yes, you have to cut it apart and make an entirely new system.

A supply house can help you. You can redo it either in glue-up PVC, or in slip-joint tubular fittings. Either way, you pick up a bag full of assorted fittings and start at the wall and work towards the sink. No worries mate.
Dived right into it and finished it up in about 3 hours....no problems, thank goodness for the old geezers at ACE who gave me an in person tutorial.
