Wall hung Daravit Darling is it any good

Hi, we are remodling and considering the Daravit Darling # 020709 wall hung toilet.

The information I can find on it is limited. It is wall-mounted, US-type toilet, washdown type. What is a US-type toilet and does washdown mean gravity?

I looked on the Daravit web site and saw the photo but I can't find any more info than listed above.

Does anyone have any experience with this toilet?

duravit darling

I didn't think it was too expensive. It is $696. Canadian. Maybe it is a good deal or maybe I just thought that toilets were expensive.
