Can somone help answer these questions.
1. I have a basement sewage pump, to pump up to the main sewer line that is between the first floor and basement ceiling, this main line goes out to a septic system. My question is : what is the best way to plumb this sewage pump line into the main line, go up and over and come in from above, come straight in to the 3 inch elbow from the end, or come in at an angle with a wye fitting?
2. if I have a bathroom below in the basement and a kitchen sink directly above, do my vents from below have to come up to at least 6" above the overflow level of the kitchen sink before they go horizontally to the vent stack, and how is that measured ( the bottom of the pipe, the centline of the pipe)?
3. if the bathroom in the basement drains into the sewage sump, and the kitchen sink directly above drains into the main drain in the first floor, can they be on same vent system?
4. what is the maximum length for a branch
Thanks in advance for the help
